Description:

Provides single and short-term in-home services for seniors living on their own. Provides services in the areas of house projects, errands, shopping, yardwork, handyman, companionship, respite care, computer support, bill paying and escorted transportation for seniors age 59 or over. Also picks up household hazardous waste and provides seniors with disaster planning and earthquake kits. Coordinates with other resources to meet client needs where service gaps might exist.

Fees:

Escorted transportation suggested donation: $2.50 roundtrip plus $.25 per mile. Single or short-term in-home services - donation requested. Cash and checks accepted.

Audience:

Seniors age 59 and over, who live independently in their homes

Eligibility:

Age 59 or over, residing in area served
