Historic Resources Advisory Board of San Mateo County

Description:

This board convenes by motion of the Environmental Services Agency, Planning and Building Division. The 11 members may include an archaeologist, an architect or architectural historian, an archivist, the director of the San Mateo County Historical Association and Museum or representative plus others with backgrounds in historical resources. A major function of this board is to carry out implementation of the historic resources element of the General Plan and to encourage historic preservation. The board meets the third Wednesday of the month at the County Historical Museum, at 3 pm, at the Old County Courthouse, 2200 Broadway (across from Fox Theatre, ask receptionist in museum store for exact room location), Redwood City.
