Description:
Provides culturally proficient mental health services to African youth, their families, and adults. Case management services are provided in the home and are available on a 24-hour basis. Refers clients to community resources to support academic success and allows clients to remain at home with their family. The African American Life Skills Group provides skills to succeed in school and in the community from an African centered perspective. African culture is utilized to empower youth and build a sense of community. The African Adult Program provides 24-hour culturally proficient mental health services for the seriously mentally ill. Services include case management, medications, treatment and crisis intervention.Location
