Provides description services for the visually impaired for movies, television, video, theater and exhibits in order to make media and the arts more accessible to blind and visually impaired people. A specially trained describer provides essential visual information about the sets, characters and action, or about the exhibit or environment. The descriptions are either transmitted through earphone or broadcast on the Second Audio Program (SAP) for television programs. Also provides training in the art of description services and consultation.Location
