Licenses nonmedical out-of-home care facilities for adults age 60 or over. Orientation and information meetings for persons wanting a license for a residential care facility for the elderly are held in various areas. Provides information on facilities and regulations on request and handles complaints regarding the covered facilities. Even though this office is one of the statewide Senior Care Program offices, information may be obtained regarding other facility types for adults and children.
