An AmeriCorps program that engages youth age 17-24 for a year of full-time community service, leadership development and civic engagement. Volunteers primarily work with children as tutors, mentors, role models and coordinators of activity before, during and after school. Corps members also serve as volunteer recruiters engaging community residents, corporate employees, parents, and particularly children and youth to do community service.Location
