Colma Creek Flood Control Zone Advisory Committee of San Mateo County
Description:
This committee convenes by the authority of Section 14 of the San Mateo County Flood Control District Act. The nine members appointed by the Board of Supervisors, after nomination by the city councils of the Flood Control Zone, are required to be property owners within the zone (one each must be from the cities of South San Francisco, Daly City, San Bruno, Colma and Pacifica). The committee confers on matters relating to zone policies and acts in an advisory capacity to the Board Of Supervisors. Meetings are held as needed at the South San Francisco City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, or other available public facilities within Colma Creek Flood Control Zone.Location
