Legal Aid At Work is a nonprofit that provides free legal advice to low-wage workers and unemployed persons throughout California regarding almost any workplace issue. Call us today to set up an appointment to speak to a legal professional (in person or over the phone). Call if you have questions about your rights regarding: -Unpaid wages or overtime -Missed meal or rest breaks -Taking time off to bond with a child, care for an ill family member, or for your own health. -Pay or income while you can't work, are on leave, or unemployed. -Needing changes to your job because of your health, like help with lifting. Being treated worse (or not hired) because of your: -Race, sex, or gender identity -Sexual orientation -Disability -Pregnancy -Ability to speak English -Criminal or arrest records -National Origin
