Garden Study Club of the Peninsula
Description:
Provides a forum for sharing of horticultural information and gardening experiences. Activities include expert speakers or program at each meeting, followed by tea. Other activities include luncheons, tours and workshops, as well as community outreach projects such as landscaping the entrance to the San Mateo County Historical Museum, conservation projects and support for youth gardeners and school projects. Members receive a monthly newsletter and bimonthly magazine. Most meetings are held the first Friday of the month (September through June) at the San Mateo Garden Center, 605 Parkside Way, San Mateo.Location
