Description:

Provides information and referral on hearing, hearing loss assessment and hearing conservation. Services include information and referral, audiological counseling, social work and mental health services, and individual and group counseling for hard of hearing and deaf people and their families. Provides counseling for those living with hearing loss. Provides social/developmental activities for children and youth. Speakers and literature are available (some materials in languages other than English). Offers outreach services to schools and senior centers including hearing screenings by professionals. Assistive Devices are available for demonstration and sale. Formerly known as Hearing Society for the Bay Area.
