Homework assistance for students in San Mateo.

Description:

Students receive help with their homework Monday through Thursday, 3-5 pm, at three locations in San Mateo. Children are helped in small groups or one-on-one with a volunteer tutor. A snack is served and recreational activities are also offered. Homework Central is a program of Peninsula Interfaith Action. Current centers are at Martin Luther King Jr. Center San Mateo, Unitarian Universalist Church of San Mateo and Sunnybrae School San Mateo.
