Provides a variety of services for persons with developmental disabilities.

Description:

Provides community employment, work training, professional counseling services, infant services, developmental activities, senior services, and supported and independent living services for more than 2,000 children, adults and seniors with developmental disabilities. Many of HOPE's clients work in the community at both large and small Silicon Valley companies, as well as governmental facilities in communities in Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Benito, Monterey and Santa Cruz counties. Formerly known as HOPE Rehabilitation Services.

Audience:

At-risk infants and adults with developmental and other disabilities

Eligibility:

Infant birth to age 3 or adult age 18 or over with developmental disability, adult with mental retardation, autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and other neurological impairments

How to Apply:

Written application required. Referral usually required from one of the following: San Andreas Regional Center, Department of Rehabilitation, private rehabilitation or schools.
