Description:
The 16 members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The board reviews and evaluates the community's mental health needs, services and facilities, approves county mental health planning processes, reviews the county mental health plan and acts in an advisory capacity to the Director of Mental Health and the Board of Supervisors. The board meets the first Wednesday of every month, 3-5 pm, 225 - 37th Avenue, San Mateo. These meetings are open to the public. Subcommittees meet at least once a month. There is a total of 19 members which includes two Youth Commissioners.Location
