Description:
Foster Grandparents serve as mentors, tutors and caregivers to at-risk children and children with special needs. The Foster Grandparent may volunteer in day care centers, Head Start programs, schools or other facilities to provide one-on-one care and attention. In return for service of 15-40 hours a week, Foster Grandparents receive a tax-free stipend, transportation and meal reimbursements, annual physical exams, and supplemental accident and liability coverage while volunteering.Location
