Description:
Peninsula Cantare provides opportunities for local singers, of all ages and socioeconomic levels, to receive top-level vocal instruction and to participate in a community; music ranges from classical choral repertoire from the Renaissance to the 21st century. Membership is by audition. During the Pandemic, the chorus rehearses online on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month, at 7:30 pm, and records a single piece approximately every 6 weeks, stitching together individual recordings of our pieces.

Cantare uses Zoom for its online meeting platform, which is accessible to many; if a member has a particular need, such as access to MusicML or larger print, please contact us.

Tuition and music fees.
Audience:
Experienced adult choral singers (post-secondary through octogenarians!)
Eligibility:
Membership by audition, ability to demonstrate vocal and music reading skills
