Description:

Provides a forum in which to learn about the growing and showing of roses on the Peninsula. The society provides direction on roses that grow with ease and produce well in this area. The society maintains membership in the American Rose Society and takes an active part in the functions of the Northern California-Nevada-Hawaii District of the American Rose Society. Meets the second Wednesday of every month (except July and December) at 7:30 pm at the Veterans Memorial Building, 1455 Madison Avenue, Redwood City. Holds a rose show the first Sunday in May in the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City.
