Provides a home-away-from-home and supportive community for families of children with life-threatening illnesses receiving specialized treatment at local hospitals.

Fees:

$10 per night requested donation. No one turned away for lack of funds. Cash and checks accepted.

Audience:

Families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital and/or Stanford Medical Center who live outside a 50-mile radius from the hospital

Eligibility:

Child must be age 19 or under, receiving treatment at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital or Stanford Hospital and clinics. Family must live at least 50 miles away from the House (exceptions under certain conditions)

How to Apply:

Apply by phone. Referral required from social service professional for first visit.
