Description:

The three-digit number, 911, rings an emergency dispatcher for police, fire and ambulance services throughout the county. Callers will be requested to give an address and nearest cross street and call-back phone number. A brief description of the problem will be requested and first-aid instructions will be given if that is the nature of the problem. No coins are necessary to call this number from a pay phone. Call the business number to discuss any problems regarding any services of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) office . Also monitors the care provided by private, non-emergency ambulance providers. May also provide speakers about Emergency Medical Services.
