Description:

The Portola Valley Library is located at 765 Portola Road,where it is part of the Portola Valley Town Center. The Library provides a relaxed environment in which to browse, read, or study and offers general resources including fiction and nonfiction books and reference services. The nonfiction collection features gardening, cooking, travel, and home decorating materials. The collection also includes compact discs, books on CD, DVD’s, large print books, magazines and newspapers. Internet terminals and laptops are available for public use along with WiFi access and printing. Our comfortable Children’s Room, Reading Area, and Family Space feature cozy seating, natural lighting, and spectacular views. Services include children’s story hours and children, adult, and family programming. The Library is part of the Peninsula Library System giving patrons access to this vast collection via free hold transfers (smcl.bibliocommons.com/.). Additionally, the Library is part of the LINK+ borrowing system partnership; a direct borrowing system with public and University libraries in California and Nevada.
