StarVista

Services CAPS provides to families and children include individual and family therapy, group therapy, and case management. Services are available in the family’s home, in their community, or via telehealth.

Description:

CAPS Early Prevention and Intervention services are available to families with children 0-17 in San Mateo County. The program strives to provide parents/caregivers with tools and strategies to reduce parental stress through a strength-based and short-term approach. CAPS Intervention provide services for families in San Mateo County that have been the victim of child abuse and/or neglect. Services are for victims and/or their caregivers. Family members may also qualify to help with the treatment of the child.
