Description:
Investigates charges of employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, national origin or age. Charges may be filed either in person, by mail or telephone. Charges for employment discrimination must generally be filed within 300 days of alleged discriminatory act. EEOC can take charges of employment discrimination from workers against employers with 15 or more employees (under Title VII and the Americans with Disabilities Act); employers with 20 or more employees (under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act); and employers with two or more employees (under the Equal Protection Act). EEOC also provides free outreach, and training for a fee to the general public, including workers, employers and community organizations.Location
