An information service for professionals or the general public on the effects of environmental agents, drugs or infections on the unborn child.

Description:

A toll-free information line for pregnant women, physicians and anyone interested in the effect that drugs, environmental agents, chemicals, infections or pollutants have on a developing embryo or fetus. The information service provides counseling to pregnant women who have been exposed to a potentially harmful agent, and community education and referrals to local genetic counselors. Formerly called California Teratogen Information Service & Clinical Research Program.
