A peer program designed to prevent alcohol, tobacco and other drug use among high school students.

Description:

Builds communities where young people and their adult allies come together to create positive social change. As a community-based institute, the Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) develops and delivers community programs and professional, innovative training to young people, adult allies, and the systems that impact them. YLI's multi-faceted approach to youth development is rooted in its community-based programs, and its training model pulls directly from the experiences of these programs and grounds it in current youth development research, theory and practices.
