Description:
The Youth Service Bureau in San Mateo offers outpatient mental health counseling to youth, families, and couples addressing parenting and co-parenting issues. We help people address a variety of issues including emotional and behavioral problems, anger management, adolescent behavior, sexual identity, abuse and neglect, drugs and alcohol, parenting, school and social problems. Other focused programs include: Juvenile Justice Diversion, First STOP adolescent drug & alcohol groups, Girls United, case management and group counseling. Also run all school-based programs in the San Mateo Union High School and San Mateo Foster City school districts, including on-campus counseling, School Safety Advocates, Guided Studies, and Alternatives to Suspension.Location
